BIOME-Preserve Microbiome Collection Kit

BIOME-Preserve collection kit preserves live microbiome samples (e.g., stool) for growth and isolation of anaerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms. The product effectively preserves microorganisms under anaerobic conditions at room temperature for up to 5 days without significant viability lost.
BIOME-Preserve features:
- Preserves live microbiome samples (e.g., stool) for growth and isolation of anaerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms.
- Preserves microorganisms under anaerobic conditions at room temperature for up to 5 days without substantial loss of viability.
- Samples may also be directly frozen in BIOME-Preserve collection kit for longer-term cryogenic storage.
- Maintains low and very low abundance species.
- Maintains many species of interest, such as Bifidobacterium spp., Bacteroides spp., Blautia spp., Eubacterium halii, Akkermansia muciniphila and Faecalibacterium prausnitzii.
- While organisms are preserved alive in BIOME-Preserve collection kit, this kit is NOT intended to preserve samples for metagenomic sequencing.
